This document is a student-created SNAPPS (Summarize, Narrow, Analyze, Plan, Present, Self-assess) oral presentation for the Chamberlain University NR 511 Differential Diagnosis & Primary Care Practicum course. It’s designed as a practice exercise to demonstrate clinical reasoning skills.
This presentation is intended for NR 511 students and their instructors as a formative assessment of a patient case. It’s used to practice concisely presenting a patient history and physical, developing a differential diagnosis, and justifying clinical decisions.
This assignment focuses on applying theoretical knowledge to a real-world patient encounter. It does *not* represent a comprehensive medical evaluation or definitive treatment plan. It’s a learning tool, not a substitute for clinical judgment.
This presentation includes a summarized patient history and physical exam focusing on genitourinary complaints, a narrowed differential diagnosis (Nephrolithiasis, Pylonephritis, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease), and an initial analysis comparing and contrasting those possibilities. It *does not* include a complete treatment plan, further diagnostic testing, or a self-assessment of the presentation itself – those components would be part of the full, delivered presentation. This preview only shows the initial stages of the SNAPPS framework.
