This document is a third lab report for the CET 4864 Feedback Control Systems course at New York City College of Technology, completed by Sekh Parvez with partner Olti Miraka on March 1, 2017.
This lab report is intended for students enrolled in the course, serving as a demonstration of practical application of concepts learned in class. It’s a graded assignment meant to showcase understanding of system analysis and modeling using MATLAB. It exists as a component of the overall course assessment.
This report focuses on applying theoretical knowledge to practical problems. It does *not* provide foundational explanations of control systems principles, nor does it serve as a comprehensive guide to MATLAB. Users will still need a textbook and lecture notes to fully grasp the underlying concepts.
The full report includes detailed results from MATLAB simulations for three separate questions (Question 1, Question 2, and Question 3). Each question features analysis, MATLAB code, and graphical outputs illustrating system responses. This preview only provides the table of contents and a glimpse of the results for Question 1, parts A and B, including MATLAB code snippets and time-domain plots. The complete document contains the full MATLAB code, detailed analysis, and results for all three questions.
